The Italy: Christian Art & Spirituality program offers students intensive, on-site study of the religious history and spirituality of Italy through the lens of its paintings, sculptures, mosaics, and sacred sites. With an emphasis on the beauty and faith of Christianity in its historical development and its artistic and architectural manifestations, this program enables participants to visit cultural landmarks, museums, churches, and natural areas. Students will explore Italy from north to south, from the ruins of the ancient world to the greatest Christian sanctuaries, and from the Adriatic to the Tyrrhenian Seas.
